Supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism sector is vital for economic recovery. Information technology above all helps the smaller type of tourism-dependent company to increase productivity. An all-important question for the future of tourism-dependent SMEs is how to make the best possible use of information technology systems to reinforce their companies. The goal of DIGITOUR is to provide the tourism sector with an agile toolkit, which can also be used by teachers and in-company trainers.
